The Kern County Sheriff Mounted Posse are a non-profit Volunteer unit of the Kern County Sheriff Department. The Posse is known for its participation in events that promote goodwill for the Sheriff’s Department.
In full Posse regalia they appear in parades, including the Rose Parade. The also visit fairs and rodeos. They enjoy helping children and the citizens of the county as an example of the unit’s many jobs. This group has prolific photographers. We receive new photos that we implement in photo galleries. Our use of Avada in this instance makes 100s of photos easy to assimilate into any webpage.
This unit also hires out as BBQ cooks for events! They have a great reputation for putting out an outstanding catered dinner.
We took over from a website created by a member. We originally redesigned in Front Page, the old Microsoft WYSIWYG program for designs. After a few years struggling to keep it updated we converted to WordPress. In 2021 we updated to our favored Avada Website Builder.
